This barbecue falls right in the middle of our key player recruitment period, and community BBQs are known to be some of the most effective fundraisers for local sporting clubs. But… it takes a village to run the perfect sausage sizzle!

Volunteers aged 12+ welcome

We need around 20 volunteers to run the day smoothly. Roles include:

💵 Taking orders & handling money

👨‍🍳 Cooking the BBQ (adults only)

🍞 Managing bread, drinks & general helpers

This is a great chance for:

🎒 Teens looking for volunteer hours or community experience

💪 Volunteers who enjoy hands-on roles

🗂️ Organisational powerhouses

👨‍👩‍👧 Families who want to pitch in together

We want to encourage every member, parent, grandparent, supporter, and family friend to volunteer. If you enjoy cooking, chatting, organising, or supporting the club in any way – we’d love to have you.
