    End of Season Awards.

As we approach the end of another thrilling netball season, it's time to reflect on the moments that made 2024 truly special. This year, our teams have shown incredible dedication, passion, and sportsmanship, both on and off the court. Now, it's your turn to recognise those who have shone brightest by voting in our end-of-season awards!

These awards are more than just accolades—they're a way to honour the individuals who have embodied the spirit and values of the Norths Netball Club. Let's take a moment to celebrate those who have contributed to the heart and soul of our club this season.

Players’ Player Award (One per team, Voted by Players Only)

This prestigious award is your chance to recognise a fellow player who consistently put their best foot forward, both on and off the court. Who did you notice that embodied the Norths values of friendship, community spirit, teamwork, and respect for everyone? This person should have shown active participation, growth, and strong team involvement, and most importantly, they should have enjoyed every moment of the game throughout the 2024 season. Remember, this award is for players only, and you should vote for someone from your team who has truly stood out.

Spirit Awards (One Per Grade, Voting Open to All Members of the Club)

The Spirit Awards are all about recognising those who have gone above and beyond to uplift not just their own team but the entire Norths community. Who consistently looked beyond their own matches to support other Norths teams and even our opponents? This person made the season better for everyone, offering encouragement, positivity, and a relentless commitment to the game, both on and off the court. There’s a Spirit Award for each age group, and while the award is for players, voting is open to everyone in the Norths family.

Michele Harvey Club Person of the Year (Voting Open to All Members of the Club.)

The Michele Harvey Club Person of the Year is an award that reaches beyond the players, extending to every member of our Norths community, including our invaluable volunteers. This is for someone who not only embodies the Norths values of friendship, community spirit, teamwork, and respect but also goes above and beyond to advance our club. Named after our club Founder Michele Harvey, nominees should reflect her spirit and have promoted our values, helped grow our community, and supported the club in countless ways. This is your chance to recognise someone who has truly made a difference this season.

Coaches Award (Voting Open to All Members of the Club.)

Our coaches are the backbone of our success, and the Coaches Award is your opportunity to acknowledge a coach who has lived the Norths values throughout the season. Who has not only cared deeply for their own team but also extended their support and encouragement to other Norths teams and even teams from other clubs? This award is for a coach who has represented our club with pride and has shown exceptional leadership and dedication in the 2024 season.

Rhianna McCudden Memorial Trophy (Awarded by the Committee)

This award was proudly donated to the club by the McCudden family in 2008 who tragically lost their daughter Rhianna on an overseas school excursion. Rhianna was an avid netballer and her family wanted to leave a legacy at the club so created this perpetual trophy in her honour. The committee awards this trophy to a member of the club who exudes our club values and spirit and shares a love of netball just like Rhianna.
